Liam Gallagher will also release a new live album, Down By The River Thames, on May 27.
Liam Gallagher has shared a new single called ‘C’mon You Know’, which the musician has himself dubbed "the sound of the summer".
The song acts as the title track from the former Oasis frontman’s third solo album, which is out on May 27 via Warner. He’s already previewed the record with its lead single ‘Everything’s Electric’, featuring Dave Grohl on drums, no less.
“C’mon, you know it’s gonna be alright/ And we’re gonna dance all night/ C’mon on you know/ Get up, stand up if you feel alive/ I only wanna see you smile/ C’mon on you know,” Gallagher sings in the first verse.
Later, he introduces gospel backing vocals, synthesisers and experimental elements as it builds to a whirlwind finale.
Last week, Gallagher and his band were spotted filming the ‘C’mon You Know’ music video on the rooftop of a Manchester hotel.

The Mancunian will showcase the upcoming C’mon You Know album on a string of huge headline shows this summer, including a two-night billing at Knebworth. He's slated to play the Royal Hospital Kilmainham in Dublin on August 27th, 2022.
Gallagher says of the show: "I'm absolutely buzzing to announce that on 27th August 2022 I'll be playing Royal Hospital Kilmainham. It's gonna be biblical. C'mon You Know. LG x"
Liam discussed more forthcoming songs on The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X in October of last year. The teased tracks include a dedication to his brother Noel on 'I Wish I Had More Power' – which the singer called a "naughty little tune" – and a brighter, "full of sunshine" single called 'Better Days'.
Liam Gallagher’s previous solo albums, As You Were (2017) and Why Me? Why Not. (2019), both went straight to No.1 on the UK Official Album Chart, as did his 2020 MTV Unplugged record. Liam’s solo career has been a remarkable resurgence which has re-established him as an iconic artist for a whole new generation of fans.
