Croí na Féile will feature traditional and contemporary Irish music, as well as a pop up gaeltacht
The lineup for Conradh na Gaeilge’s Croí na Féile has been announced, which will see music, language and culture celebrated as Gaeilge at Electric Picnic.
A unique range of acts will be present on the Chollcoill stage, with DJs Puzzy Wrangler, Aonad and Dabla announced in the lineup. Sexy Tadhg will also return to the stage following successful performances in previous years.
The stage will also see a number of traditional and folk music performances, with a lineup including Coscán, Billow Wood and The Fógues.
Daytime at Croí na Féile will see winners of the Electric Youth competition display their talents, from spoken word to instrumental performances. Strive Theatre will be putting on a display of performance art, and accordion playing from Liam O’Connor.
In line with previous years those looking to speak Irish will be able to pitch their tents alongside other Gaeilgóirí in a pop up Gaeltacht- the official Láthair Gaeltachta campsite.

Irish is the main spoken language at the site, giving punters the opportunity to use it over the weekend.
Orla Nic Ghearailt of Conradh na Gaeilge spoke on the organisation’s excitement to be back at the festival, describing the stellar lineup
“From the Gaeltacht campsite to the Collchoill stage there will be plenty of opportunities for people to put Gaeilge ag Croí na Féile, at the heart of their festival, this year,” she said.
