This week, Hot Press joined countless others across the global music industry in The Show Must Be Paused campaign – organised by music executives Jamila Thomas and Brianna Agyemang to protest the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis. As we move forward, we will continue to reflect and self-educate about racial discrimination in the US, Ireland and around the world – while also taking action by detailing a new series of anti-racism initiatives, and highlighting some of the key voices in the Black Lives Matter movement in Ireland over the coming weeks.

Going forward, we at Hot Press are excited to expand our support of black creatives in Ireland – and provide a platform for amplifying black voices in the music community.
