The legendary Irish artist has entered the podcast world.
Following the release of his acclaimed album Magic Nights, Christy Moore presents Christy Moore: The Podcast.
On the first episode of the series, Christy tells the stories behind the songs featured on his Magic Nights and On The Road albums.
On the trailer for the podcast series, Christy talks about writing 'Saint Brendan's Voyage' in Kerry: "...and who walked in, but Páidí Ó Sé ... and Charlie Haughey."
Magic Nights, released in November, is a 26-track collection of live recordings of Christy in Liverpool, Lisdoonvarna, Birmingham, Cork and more.
"Part of the magic of a live Christy Moore concert is the way his persona expands in a ways virtually impossible in a studio setting," Hot Press's Jackie Hayden noted in his eight-star review of the album. "There is an inevitable bond between the man, his music and his audience that is a wonder to behold."

"Of course you can't beat the real thing," he continues, "but if you can't catch Christy on his current tour, this generous double CD will do nicely."
Christy previously featured on Ruairí McKiernan's acclaimed Love And Courage podcast, where he opened up about sobriety, the environment and losing his father at a young age.
