Irish indie band Little Green Cars will officially launch ANAM 2019 with a live gig at DCU’s state-of-the-art student centre, the “U” on Thursday, 6 December at 1.00pm.
ANAM is a two-day cultural festival of music, poetry, literature, drama and film workshops with performances from established Irish artists, North Dublin community groups and DCU staff and students.
It will take place in a series of venues across DCU’s three campuses (St Patrick’s, Glasnevin, All Hallows) on April 3rd & 4th 2019.
A “Talent Call” will also be issued at this Thursday's launch inviting DCU’s staff and students to audition for a chance to perform with renowned Irish musicians at the 2019 festival.
ANAM is an integral part of the development of a North Dublin Cultural Quarter, as part of DCU’s Strategic Development Plan, which outlined a commitment to focus on and foster the creative and performing arts in DCU and the North Dublin Community.

It does sp through offering unique and high-quality artistic and cultural experiences through public engagement opportunities, outreach programmes, visual arts initiatives, on-campus and community events.
ANAM is produced and directed by Philip King of SouthWindBlows (creators of RTÉ's longest running music TV show & festival, Other Voices).
