Irish DJ and producer, Bissett and fellow producer RobbieG, shut down Longitude Festival with a crowd-pleaser set.
Irish dance duo Belters Only have delivered one of the most high-energy sets of Longitude Festival so far, delivering anthem after anthem to a packed out crowd of die hard electronic fans.
The pair – comprised of DJs and producers Bissett and RobbieG – have already been taking over TikTok with their tracks ahead of their official release, combining soaring vocals, euphoric piano chords, and infectious melodies on their chart hits with Jazzy.
The euphoric energy of their club sets and now festival slots feature flashing strobe lights, a metal structure and flickering graphics. The pair's friendship shines through on stage as they tag team over the decks, unleashing bass-thumping beats and soaring chorus melodies. The young audience is enraptured as they dance, waiting for the main event in the form of their Irish No.1's.
Their remix of Gloria Gaynor's 1978 hit 'I Will Survive' goes down a treat. The 2022 smash is one of the reasons for the Belters Only takeover since 2021, and for good reason. The track maintains all the best elements of the '70s single with contemporary dance flourishes and an infectious beat. 'My Mind', another track from this year, blared out across the Marlay Park field, received with rapturous affection by the teens.

Towards the end of their set, they bring out special guest Jazzy to perform her Irish No.1 hit single 'Giving Me', which was produced by Bissett and RobbieG. Her own DJ set in the Heineken tent at 3:30pm was full to the rafters, and she sung the single as the finale. Hitting the main stage with her (presumably Rashhiiid?) fluffy red hat and colourful outfit, she looked every inch the dance-pop princess of Crumlin.
Delivering her vocals on fellow chart-topper 'Make Me Feel Good' and 'Don't Stop Just Yet', her sleek voice is perfect for dance bops built for clubs and radio-play. The former apparently samples 2010's 'At the Club' by Timmy Regisford feat. Lynn Lockamy. The bassline hits hard, offering a mainstream flavour to house music.
Belters Only's powerful, epic remix of 'The Weekend' by Michael Gray rounds out a brilliant set in playful, fun-filled style. Calvin Harris may well be threatened by their energy - as he should be.
