Revisit CeeV’s passionate performance on the Y&E Series below- supported by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.
CeeV secured the attention of viewers of the Hot Press Y&E Series last Saturday night (August 28) with an attitude-filled performance.
The Co. Down native strummed lightly on the guitar as she welcomed viewers into the livestream before she broke into her first number ‘Lonely Night.’ CeeV was on a family trip in Galway, with her family waiting in the pub for her while she delivered a powerful set.
CeeV showed a deft rhythmic hand on the acoustic guitar while she sang with power and a well-rounded tone. “I’m really proud of it,” she said of ‘Lonely Night’ which dropped in June 2020.
She then played unreleased song ‘Is It Too Late To Love You’, which she debuted on Instagram in July. CeeV said it is one of her favourites, and if released it will surely be a crowd favourite too. The Newry singer unsurprisingly gave the song her signature flawless vocals throughout.
Her latest single ‘Twenty Three’ followed. A relatable jam about a break up where one person wants to see the world and the other person struggles to accept it. She played another unreleased song, ‘Run Away’, before delivering a rendition of debut single ‘Old Lover.’

The musician finished with the emotionally raw ‘She’, which has yet to drop on streaming services. The songwriter said she saved it until last “‘cause it might be my favourite.” The infectious tune highlighted CeeV’s diverse vocal prowess.
Signing off to join her parents down in the pub, CeeV left the viewers wanting more and anticipating what’s to come from the rising singer-songwriter.
The Hot Press Y&E Series is supported by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media. Watch the performances every night on the Hot Press Instagram (@hotpressmagazine) at 7.30pm.
