Hailing from the Monaghan/Armagh border region, FYA FOX draws influence from the likes of London Grammar and Lana Del Rey – to present a captivatingly unique electronic pop sound, combined with deeply emotive lyrics. FYA's approach to alternative pop is also informed by her background as a classically-trained vocalist – as evidenced in her latest single, 'Body', which earned deserved widespread radio airplay.

Stripping her synth-filled bangers down to just her gorgeous vocals and piano, Fya Fox gave a captivating performance for her Y&E Series livestream. Her striking range as a singer, with a voice akin to that of Hannah Reid, stole the spotlight throughout - featuring previously released tracks 'White Lie' and 'Body' as well as covers and unreleased music.

Kicking off with a down-tempo rendition of her November 2020 debut single 'White Lie', Fya Fox sang of escaping a negative connection in her life. With lyrics focusing on cutting loose from someone who's holding you back after coming to a difficult crossroads, 'White Lie' is about the choice of whether to listen to your head and leave or risk it all to stay.

Working with producer Matt Weir in the studio, the pair created Fya Fox's most recent single 'Body'. A track about missing an old lover while trying to get them out of your mind on the dancefloor, the sad yet anthemic track takes a leaf out of Robyn's book of heartbreak bangers. Leading into a beautiful cover of London Grammar's hit 'Strong', Fya's control of her vocals is mesmeric.

Closing with an unreleased song, titled 'You Know', Fya Fox delivers an undeniably pitch-perfect performance on the Y&E Series. New music is set to land "sooner than you think", so keep an eye out on her social media pages for updates!
