The damp weather didn't deter any Movember music-lovers on Friday night, with a packed out Pyg acting as the perfect setting for seven incredible DJ sets.
Clubgoers piled into Dublin bar Pygmalion on Friday night in the pouring rain for the eagerly awaited Movember launch party, and it didn't disappoint.
Steadily removing the tables to make way for a dancefloor, Movember Ireland's Country Manager, Jack O'Connor, made his Pyg debut in the vault. Sporting an impressive moustache himself, O'Connor kicked off the night's DJ sets under his producer moniker: Zenna. A man of many talents, Jack has given a huge amount of his time and energy to the campaign over the last number of years.
Ben Bix later took over the reins, reeling in the crowd with captivating remixes of Kelis classic 'Milkshake' and Sean Paul hit 'Temperature'. Mother Dublin DJs Ruth Kavanagh and Kelly Anne Byrne continued the packed night with brilliant music beating hard in the room until 3:30am. Veteran Dublin DJ and club promoter Arveene, acclaimed artist Cici (Cavanagh) and former Oasis bassist Andy Bell - aka GLOK - concluded the energetic performances. The eclectic mix of electronic, tropical house, disco and dance tracks went down a treat with the youthful crowd; ensuring the Movember launch was a night to remember.
