The new edition of the Hot Press Lockdown Sessions' Y&E Series continues with Rosie Byrne, supported generously by the Department of Media, Tourism, Arts, Culture, Sport and the Gaeltacht.
At just 15-year-old, Rosie has already built up an enviable reputation – drawing major crowds as an acclaimed busker on Grafton Street, Dublin, with performances of both covers and stunning originals, including her single 'Proud', released last year.
Even technical difficulties couldn't stop Rosie from delivering a killer set. Opening with 'Kids On The Run', she showed off her impressive songwriting skills with an infectious tune about a trip to Dun Laoghaire she took with friends after lockdown restrictions lifted. She also performed 'I Heard A Rumour' and 'Catch Me If You Can', a co-write with Conor Marcus.
