The promo sees Kristen Stewart try her hand at an Irish accent
The teaser for true-life horror film Lizzie can be watched now.
The film stars Chloe Sevigny as Lizzie Borden, who garnered notoriety as the main suspect in the August 4, 1892 axe murders of her father and stepmother in Fall River, Massachusetts. Borden was tried and acquitted of the murders.
Lizzie focuses on the character as a social outcast trapped under her austere, domineering father’s control. When Bridget Sullivan (Stewart), a young Irish immigrant maid desperate for work, comes to live with the family, Lizzie and her form a bond, one which blossoms into a wicked plan, and a dark, unsettling end.
Channel Zero director Craig William Macneill is behind the camera, while the Irish Fiona Shaw also stars, alongside Denis O'Hare (American Horror Story) and Kim Dickens (Gone Girl)
