As part of the Sound of Belfast 2018, a selection of local artists will play a concert in support of Aware.
The show called 'Rude Health' aims to raise funds for mental health service Aware, in addition to raising awareness about depression and mental illness.
Aware is currently the only service dedicated to helping those with depression and bipolar disorder in Northern Ireland with two offices, in Derry and Belfast. The organization offers 24 support groups in addition to online and support and educational services.
Aware's official event page states: "Through our one-day event as part of the Sound of Belfast programme, we are aiming to provide a platform for emerging talent in the region while raising funds to support the essential mental health support systems that so many musicians have come to depend on. We must band together, collaborate and communicate and above all look after each other. Rude Health is made possible by each and every one of the musicians listed on the poster overleaf who have pledged their time to raise money for this year's designated mental health charity".
In addition to helping this amazing service, concert goers will be treated to an array of live performances from upcoming talent. The lineup includes Catalan, Malojian, Rebekah Fitch, Sam Wickens, Strange New Places, Susie Blue, No Oil Paintings, HIVA OI and Hex Hue.
