Primal Scream, Deacon Blue, The Charlatans, Something Happens and Stereo MCs are among the acts set to play a series of open-air shows on Dun Laoghaire Pier over the June Bank Holiday Weekend.
MCD have announced three open air summer concerts have been announced for Dun Laoghaire Pier, on the June Bank Holiday Weekend. These shows add a further dimension to what is shaping up to be the most competitive summer on record for live gigs.
The first of the three special Dun Laoghaire Pier gigs takes place Friday 31 May, when headliners Deacon Blue will be joined by special guests Basement Jaxx (DJ Set) and Stereo MCs.
One of the great ska bands of the 1980s, Madness (pictured) will headline on Saturday 1 June and will be joined by Lightning Seeds and Irish rock maestros Something Happens.
On Sunday 2 June, Primal Scream will perform with special guests The Charlatans and Fun Lovin' Criminals. Early bird tickets for all three concerts go on sale this Friday 29 March 2019 at 9am.
