The worldwide smash hit musical is set to make its Dublin return next Autumn 20 years after its Dublin debut in 2004 . Audiences around the world haven fallen head over heels time and time again for the sunny, funny tale of a mother, daughter, and her three possible fathers on a Greek island idyll, featuring the feel-good songs of ABBA.

Judy Craymer, Creator and Producer of MAMMA MIA! said, “We are really thrilled to be bringing MAMMA MIA! back to Dublin where the hugely successful MAMMA MIA! International Tour first opened at the Point Theatre in 2004. It was such a joyous experience so it is only fitting that the International Tour returns to Dublin to celebrate 20 years of performances in 2024 at the 3Arena".

In the past 20 years the MAMMA MIA! International Tour has played 41 countries, performed more than 3,500 shows and has been seen by over 7 million people. MAMMA MIA! is now in its 24th year in London, has been seen by over 10 million people and is the 3rd longest running musical in West End history.

In 2011, it became the first Western musical ever to be staged in Mandarin in the People’s Republic of China.

MAMMA MIA! the Movie, also produced by Craymer in 2008, became the highest-grossing musical of all time upon its release and the second film, MAMMA MIA! HERE WE GO AGAIN, was also a smash hit.
