Since the announcement, neither Melania Trump nor Donald Trump have commented on the documentary, leading to speculation of how involved Melania will be in the project. However, the executive producer role indicates she has editorial control.
The documentary will be directed by Brett Ratner. Ratner was accused of sexual misconduct in 2017, his lawyer denied the allegations against him.
Melania Trump released an autobiography in October, which became a New York Times and Amazon best seller. Since leaving the White House in 2017, Melania has only made a few public appearances with Donald Trump.
It has been reported by some US news outlets that she will not live in the White House after Donald Trump has taken the oath of office later this month.
