Merchy Christmas takes place in Dublin's The Grand Social on December 17 and 18, with over 60 Irish artists taking part.
One Stop Band Shop Present's the third Merchy Christmas - taking place this Saturday and Sunday, December 17 and 18.
Following two hugely successful events in 2020 and 2021, the event return with over 60 Irish musicians and bands selling their merchandise directly to fans.
The annual event was established during the Christmas lockdown in 2020, by Conor Cusack and the band Saint Sister. While chatting about ways to create a personal connection with their listeners and thank them for their support over the difficult year, they had the idea of a public merch stall.
Working with Keiron Black and the team at The Grand Social, they put together a two-day event across multiple floors, which was hugely successful.
Merchy Christmas proudly partners with Dublin Simon Community to fundraise at their most difficult time of year. With a suggested donation of €5 on the door, in 2021 a whopping €4,915 was raised. This year organisers are aiming to hit €10,000.
