International Literature Festival Dublin (ILFD) recently announced that Michael Lewis will be in Dublin on Thursday 8 November for a special in conversation event. The event will be chaired by multi-award winning Irish journalist Caitríona Perry. The bestselling author of Moneyball and Liar’s Poker, which inspired Oscar winning movies, makes a rare visit to Dublin for the special Off the Page event.

Lewis will introduce his new book The Fifth Risk at the event. The book reveals the venality and disorder behind the current White House administration, and how it threatens the fabric of American democracy and of the current world order. Two years to the day since Donald Trump was elected, Michael Lewis will discuss the current state of US politics and the risk it poses for us all.

Off the Page will take place at St Patrick’s Cathedral 8 November at 7:30pm. Tickets are available now from the ILFD site here, €15 per person.
