Patton Oswalt, Tegan and Sara, Piers Morgan among those floored by First Lady's speech yesterday
By all accounts, Michelle Obama killed it at the Democratic National Convention last night.
The First Lady's address united a convention torn by bitterness and disillusionment, delivering a speech that left many in the convention audience visibly weeping.
Mrs. Obama emotionally talked about her daughters' life in the White House, voiced the importance of electing a president who can positively influence the nation's youth, and slammed Donald Trump without once saying his name.
Twitter-using celebrities have been effusive in their praise. Check out just a few highlights below:
I don't think anyone can follow this. Michelle Obama. Wow. Van Halen opening for Sabbath in '78. #DemsInPhilly

A superb speech by Michelle Obama. Showed up the weaknesses of Trump without a single insult. A lesson to all.

And finally Mr. President himself:
Incredible speech by an incredible woman. Couldn't be more proud & our country has been blessed to have her as FLOTUS. I love you, Michelle.
