Michelle Williams Ties The Knot In Secret

The actress has secretly married musician Phil Elverum, according to Vanity Fair magazine.
In the in-depth interview, the actress states: "I never gave up on love."
The US magazine's Amanda Fortini interviewed the actress for the cover story of the latest edition that hits the streets today and in it she writes that "by the time you read this" Michelle and the singer-songwriter "will have been married in a secret ceremony in the Adirondacks, witnessed by only a handful of friends and their two daughters."
Michelle Williams has a 12-year-old daughter named Matilda from her relationship with the late actor Heath Ledger, who tragically died from an overdose of a cocktail of prescription drugs back in 2008.
"I always say to Matilda, 'Your dad loved me before anybody thought I was talented, or pretty, or had nice clothes,'" she reveals.
Phil himself has a young daughter with his first wife, Geneviève Castrée, who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2015, shortly after the birth of their child. She sadly died in July 2016.
Speaking about her relationship with Phil, Michelle Williams says: "Obviously I've never once in my life talked about a relationship, but Phil isn't anyone else. And that's worth something.
"Ultimately the way he loves me is the way I want to live my life on the whole. I work to be free inside of the moment. I parent to let Matilda feel free to be herself, and I am finally loved by someone who makes me feel free."
