Miley Cyrus dominates in new music video for "dance floor banger" 'River'.
Miley Cyrus has unveiled her new album today with Endless Summer Vacation, described as a “love letter to L.A,” and shared the black-and-white visuals for ‘River.’
The ‘River’ music video highlights the high energy of the song with seductive visuals and over a dozen shirtless men. Cyrus described the song as a “dance floor banger,” which also serves as a codename.
Cyrus stated, “AKA they don’t want me to talk about how the fact the song is about cumming. It’s fucking nasty. It’s nasty.”
Cyrus’ lyrics continue the spirit of the anthem with “Blowing bubbles in the bath, I can't stop from thinking lately / You could be the one, have the honour of my babies / Hope they have your eyes and that crooked smile / Was a desеrt 'fore I met you, I was in a drought.”
‘River’ evolved for Cyrus because at first it was “a trouble,” but it became an “April shower." The video also ends with water pouring down on Cyrus and her backing dancers. Cyrus shared, "It never stops raining and then it started raining down love.”

Endless Summer Vacation is divided into two sections with AM and PM, highlighting the differences in emotions and feelings between day and night. ‘River’ is featured on the PM side along with ‘River,’ ‘Violet Chemistry,’ ‘Muddy Feet,’ ‘Wildcard,’ ‘Island,’ and ‘Wonder Woman.’
Cyrus shared, “The AM part is representing the morning time where there’s a buzz, an energy, and new possibilities and PM part it’s like slinky, glamour, it’s a time to rest or go out and experience the wild side.”
The music video is not the only visual content for the album as Cyrus released a music video for the Irish Singles Chart No. 1 hit ‘Flowers’ and also released Endless Summer Vacation (Backyard Sessions) on Disney+. This visual performance of the album also includes ‘The Climb’ to mark the song’s 14th anniversary.
