Minding Creative Minds is Ireland's first 24/7 mental health and wellbeing support programme for the Irish creative community within the 32 counties and overseas.
Minding Creative Minds (MCM) are set to hold their fifth online meet-and-greet session on Monday, May 17th at 7pm. Register for free here.
Presented in association with EPIC Working Group, Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO), Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA), MCD Productions & The Cowshed, the online session is open to the entire Irish creative community – whether based on these shores or overseas. It will be chaired by Ann Marie Shields, Director of Minding Creative Minds and Head of Careers, Industry and Events at BIMM Institute.
With thanks to its existing funding partners and new funding by The Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, Minding Creative Minds was able to open its services to the entire creative community in Ireland and overseas - around 55,000 people in total - in December 2020.
The aim of MCM's Meet and Greet Sessions is for those attending to share experiences and advice with each other, but it also aids conversations between peers.
“The MCM meet and greet sessions have been a great opportunity for members of the creative industry to connect, and share their current experiences in navigating their way through these challenging times for the industry," Kim O’ Callaghan, Minding Creative Minds Director, said in a statement.

"This past 14 months has been a very surreal and challenging time for so many in the industry, but those who have attended the meet and greet session have found a very supportive, informative community with shared experiences and great tips and advice," O'Callaghan, who is also MCD Project Manager and Deputy Event Controller as well as an EPIC Working Group representative, said.
"The Breakout rooms within the overall sessions have been very successful in giving people the opportunity in smaller groups to share information, thoughts, ideas and support each other."
Through the sessions, Minding Creative Minds hopes to help in building resources and to facilitate an atmosphere of help and support for all – encouraging an open conversation within the Irish creative community.
