The organisation – which offers free 24/7 wellbeing & support to the Irish creative sector – will have a strong presence at the festival this weekend
Minding Creative Minds have shared their programme for this weekend’s Electric Picnic festival in Stradbally, Co. Laois – with activities and services available across the Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Minding Creative Minds (MCM) is Ireland's first 24/7 support and wellbeing programme for the creative sector, covering the whole island of Ireland, as well as the Irish overseas.
Following the success of last year’s mental health panel discussion, Hot Press are delighted to welcome MCM to our Chatroom tent in the Mindfeld area.
On Saturday, September 2, MCM mentor and consultant Sue Cullen and wellness coach Eoin Ryan will be speaking at the Hot Press tent from 1.45pm.
Then, at 1.45pm on Sunday, September 3, the pair will return to the tent for a panel discussion with comedian, musician, actor and writer Tadgh Hickey; comic Ailish McCarthy; and Hermitage Green's Dan Murphy.

The panel will explore and offer insights into mental health issues within Ireland’s creative industry.
In addition, Minding Creative Minds will have a dedicated counsellor on site at Electric Picnic from 1-5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
You can also drop into the Minding Creative Minds' base in the Crew Village for a break between 12-7pm on Friday, and 11am-7pm on Saturday and Sunday.
The MCM mentors can be found at their base in backstage production, opposite crew catering.
