The Irish creative community are invited to join Minding Creative Minds (MCM) at their Dublin HQ next week, on November 8, for a special in-person seminar and networking event: 'Empowering a Safe Environment for Creatives'.
The event – which is free to attend, although registration is required – will also feature MCM's colleagues from Safe To Create, the Irish Theatre Institute and Safe Gigs Ireland.
The seminar will kick off at 1pm at MCM's HQ at the Guinness Enterprise Centre, Taylor’s Lane, Dublin 8, followed by an afternoon of networking.
As MCM note, empowering a safe working environment and space for creatives is "fundamental for fostering a thriving creative sector."
"Safe to Create and Safegigs.ie initiatives are invaluable resources for ensuring safe practices are integrated and embedded, and the well-being and growth of artists and creatives in Ireland are prioritised," their statement about the event reads. "It's commendable to offer programmes, training, and a pledge that are accessible to all members of the community.
"Empowering creatives through education and support not only enhances their individual skills but also contributes significantly to the overall creative landscape of the nation," they continue. "Minding Creative Minds is delighted to advocate and support these initiatives, as together we all build a supportive network, facilitating collaborations, and promoting mental and emotional well-being among artists."
