Just in time for Valentine's Day, BIG LOVE returns to spread the message of love and friendship and raise awareness for mental health advocacy.
MINI Ireland and Grow Mental Health have joined forces again to announce a live concert fundraiser for those struggling with mental health challenges. BIG LOVE will take place on 10 February from 2pm in Bewley’s Cafe on Grafton Street.
With an exciting line-up of emerging artists — including Garron Noone, The RUGS and many others — set to perform on the cafe’s balcony, this is sure to be an entertaining, moving event not to be missed! Tea and coffee will also be served, with several opportunities to donate to Grow Mental Health. MINI Ireland and Grow Mental Health will be on site, handing out roses and vouchers to attendees and passersby, with various opportunities to meet and chat with the respective teams.
Founded in 1969, Grow Mental Health is one of Ireland’s longest-running mental health organisations. Supporting thousands of people in Ireland each week, the charity has recorded a 400% year on year increase in demand for further aid. Delivering a national network of peer-to-peer assistance in local communities — through a ‘12-step Recovery and Growth’ program — Grow Mental Health aims to ensure that those struggling with such challenges do not have to navigate them alone. With the hopes to spread this message, MINI Ireland partnered with the charity to host BIG LOVE.
The BIG LOVE concert aims to shed a spotlight on those who have dealt with and are still dealing with mental health struggles, along with the friends and family around them who have helped facilitate healing. It will be an opportunity for Grow Mental Health to raise vital funds to continue its nationwide outreach in a time that has seen unprecedented demand for its services.
