Miranda Hart Joins Star-Studded The Nutcracker and the Four Realms Cast
Something sweet is headed this way
The cast for Disney's live-action rendition of The Nutcracker keeps plumping up with more seasoned actors. Miranda Hart, recently remembered for her comedic role in Spy (2015), accompanies Dame Helen Mirren and Kiera Knightley in the classic Russian ballet.
Hart will portray Dewdrop, a funny fairy, alongside Knightly who stars as the Sugar Plum Fairy. In a recent tweet, Hart admits, "I won't lie, I am very excited to be playing a fairy. (Natural casting)."
The Nutcracker and the Mouse King is a classic Christmas story, originally created by author E.T.A Hoffmann in 1816. The novella transformed into the much beloved ballet that sprinkles into homes worldwide each year.
