Kicking off at 4 pm and running through to 11 pm, Mother has packed in as much talent as possible to make up for lost time. With a very limited capacity, the Block Party will be sure to be in high demand. As a result, when it sells out, a waitlist will be in operation should Covid restrictions ease before September 18th.
Mother has announced that their first party in what seems like forever is fast approaching. The Mother Block Party will return to Clarke Square at the National Museum of Ireland on Saturday, September 18th.
Hosted by Panti Bliss and boasting a lineup of over 40 performers – including Elaine Mai and guests, Mother DJs, Blu Hydrangea and more – the event will be headlined by Denise Chaila.
Conceived in June 2010, Mother is an old school club night for disco loving LGBTQ+ members and their family & friends. Normally they are located at Lost Lane, Grafton St.
Their annual Pride Block Party takes place every June at the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks. In 2019 they launched our first LGBTQ+ music festival, Love Sensation, at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham.
