What an a-musing act!
Before a small, intimate crowd, a string of spoken word artists deliver some of their best work.
Held under the massive butterfly inside the Word Stage at Mindfield, A-Musing featured a collection of spoken word artists.
The host of the evening encourages audience members to come up further. Most are dubious at first, but once settled see the benefit of being up close. Being right up front allows for the power of the pieces to resonate even more!
The line-up features Bethany Blue, Liam McCabe, David Mallaghan, Brendan O'Hara, Richard Brennan and David Hynes.
Whilst each performer is distinctive in their own right, each receive an equally warm reception.

David Mallaghan shares an incredible piece involving his train journey in which he beared witness to a confrontation between a sheep and a cow in a Tullamore field.
As Bristol's Bethany Blue stands up, commmenting that she will recite a piece on the relationship between Ireland and the UK, an audience member yelps 'Brave Woman'. And brave she is indeed. The piece is tight, witty and makes everyone in the crowd laugh.
A different side of the Electric Picnic, the spoken word acts are a must-see.
