Best thing you saw online?
It’s not new and it took some digging because the powers that be tried to hide it from YouTube forever, but the utterly woeful Take That performance of 'Shine' and 'Everything Changes' from X Factor has resurfaced in Korea, wherein Gary Barlow tries to reinforce the narrative that he’s musical by pointing and shouting 1,2,3,4 at some session musicians, who were playing (possibly miming) along to some pre-recorded backing vocals.
Your hope for next year?
I hope our Irish shows go ahead. And all the others. Most of all, I want to be able to spend some quality time with my parents. I might get Dad to train as a roadie and mum can just chill on the bus.
What tickled your funny bone?
Pat Carty singing 'Baby Shark' in the style of Leonard Cohen during our podcast, available only on my Patreon.
