Nathan Connolly's debut record, The Strange Order Of Things, is set for release April 21st.
Following news of his debut solo album The Strange Order Of Things, Nathan Connolly has announced a UK and Ireland tour.
Connolly has been the guitarist for award-winning Irish rock band Snow Patrol for over two decades. Since his addition, the group has gone on to sell 17 million albums, headline festivals, achieve five UK platinum albums, an Ivor Novello award and Grammy and Mercury Music Prize nominations.
Nathan has been working on his solo album for years now. It’s called The Strange Order Of Things and it’s a triumph. The debut single, Fires, is out now and it features our good friend Simon Neil from Biffy Clyro. Congrats, Nathan! SP x

The Strange Order Of Things has been in the works for six years now, a timespan in which Connolly has gotten engaged and become a father– all of which has influenced his writing.
"As far as themes about writing it was all about emotional costs, carrying stuff, regret, past mistakes during that whole time," the artist told the Belfast Telegraph.
"I became a dad and there's two songs about that or at least referencing that or pointing to that. Not necessarily just about being a dad, but about mortality and all those things that I was already writing about or brought into question and made clearer," he remarked, and added:
"You can unshackle a lot of stuff with the clarity that becoming a dad brings. So there's massive, massive changes throughout writing this record."
The 42 year-old artist described the work as "trying to understand, make sense and work through events that have led to who I am now: heartache, regret, emotional cost and fatherhood".
The Strange Order Of Things' leading single 'Fires' was released March 17th, and featured Biffy Clyro's Simon Neil. The record itself is slated for release April 21st.
