A group of Second Year BA Illustration students from the National College of Art and Design produced pieces looking back on 2017, with Hot Press illustrator David Rooney.

Topics for the illustrations ranged from Donald Trump's first year as US President, to the #metoo movement, to the refugee crisis.

Roxana Kanjeeva's imagining of Donald Trump as Putin's Russian Doll (pictured below) was featured in Hot Press' 2018 Annual.
