Listen to Nealo and Uly's 'You Can't Go Home Again' below.
Dublin-based rapper Nealo is back with big news: he has a debut album on the way, slated for release on October 30, and to celebrate he'll be playing a headline slot The Workman's Club on November 6.
After 10 years fronting hardcore punk band Frustration, Nealo settled down, got married and got a law degree. He worked in a law firm for a few years, but eventually returned to music, this time in a completely different way. In 2018, Nealo began making beats as a form of catharsis.
Of the announcement, Nealo said: "We have had an incredibly challenging year and especially in the music industry. At times it feels like all the fun has just been sucked out of life. BUT, we have decided to not wait and see what happens, but to go ahead and release my debut album. There’s no better time than now.
"I could not be more excited to share this story with the world," he continued, "and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in helping to create this project with me. An incredible amount of work has gone into this record over the last two years. Please take the time to listen all the way through and enjoy the journey."
