Netflix announce their first singing competition 'Rhythm + Flow' starring the best in the business.
Netflix are releasing their first music competition in 2019, called Rhythm + Flow. Pulling out all the stops, the streaming site have asked Cardi B, Chance the Rapper and T.I. to be judges and executive producers on the show.
Strong Black Lead broke the news on Twitter saying the stars are "helping undiscovered hip-hop artists pursue their dreams". The first season will have ten episodes in the search for the next hip-hop star.
The three artists will serve as the main judges while Netflix reveals more big names are to be added as the show progresses.

'Whatever You Like' singer T.I. encouraged his followers to audition for Rhythm + Flow. The artist posted a video saying, "Basically man we're gonna travelling the country man in all of the hoods, all the studios, all the nightclubs - even the barber shops, if necessary to find next unreleased underground hip-hop superstar."

Auditions will take place across the U.S. and will be making special visits to the hometowns of the main judges in Atlanta, Chicago and New York.

In case you're worried the show will turn into a music factory without heart and soul, T.I. promises the new Netflix show will be taking a different approach "to anything you've ever seen before".
"With us [himself, Cardi B and Chance the Rapper] as judges the authenticity's goin' be through the roof," he continues. T.I. ended the video advising hip-hop hopefuls to educate themselves on the judge's music.
