Netflix Fires Actor Facing Rape Allegations
Actor Danny Masterson, who is probably best known for playing Steven Hyde in 'That ’70s Show', has been fired from the Ashton Kutcher comedy show 'The Ranch' following allegations that he raped four women back in the 2000s.
A spokesperson for Netflix confirmed that the actor has been booted off the show.
“As a result of ongoing discussions, Netflix and the producers have written Danny Masterson out of The Ranch. Yesterday was his last day on the show, and production will resume in early 2018 without him.”
The LAPD confirmed back in March that they are investigating the allegations.
But so far there's been no arrest made, even though a source is telling US tabloids that there's "compelling evidence in the case".
The actor, who is a scientologist, has denied the claims. A spokesperson for him said that the "false allegations appear to be motivated to boost Leah Remini’s anti-Scientology television series".
