Production is expected to begin in Berlin around the 25th of June.
The future is now
Potential spoilers ahead, as Netflix confirms it's first German-language production will see a second season. Set in the small German town of Winden, dark and ill fates befall those who live there as they battle with personal demons and other-worldly factors out of their control.
An deserted urban setting sees a lone walker decked out in a protective plastic haz-mat suit. Carrying a large breathing apparatus on their back, they move past abandoned apartment buildings and burnt out plants.
Another shows the man from the front, with a yellow bandana over his mouth.

Could this be Jonas? The last we saw of him, he was pulled through a wormhole into a post-apocalyptic Winden in 2052, after becoming separated from Helge in the travelling process. Upon his arrival to the future, he was knocked out by an armed girl.
The show is one full of twists and turns, near impossible to being watching halfway through. And it's highly recommended that if you love dark thrillers with a splash of sci-fi and characters you love to hate - this could be the new show for you.
