Netflix's chief product officer, Greg Peters, says more interactive projects are on the way.
In December, Black Mirror: Bandersnatch put the life of video game programmer Stefan in the viewers' hands with Netflix's first true experiment in interactive programming, and the streaming service has announced there is more content like this to come.
Greg Peters, Netflix's chief product officer, said to expect more from the format during a webcast, Business Insider reports. "We've got a hunch that [the interactive format of Bandersnatch] works across all kinds of storytelling," said Peters. "Some of the greatest storytellers in the world are excited to dig into it."
In Bandersnatch, the viewer was able to make decisions ranging from which cereal character's should eat to whether or not they should jump off a balcony. While the average runtime for the experience was 90 minutes, it contained over five hours of footage.
Peters did not share details about any projects currently in the works or when to expect more interactive content.
