These are in addition to previous charges brought against the ex-Miramax head
Former Hollywood film producer Harvey Weinstein (66) has been indicted on three more sex crime charges.
Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance announced the filing of the additional charges today. These include another count of a Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree against a third woman in 2006, as well as two counts of Predatory Sexual Assault.
The latter is a Class A-II felony which carries a minimum sentence of 10 years and a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.
The new charges are in addition to those contained in the previous indictment of the ex-Hollywood mogul on charges of Rape in the First and Third Degrees, as well as of a Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree. These were for forcible sexual acts against two women in 2004 and 2013.

“This indictment is the result of the extraordinary courage exhibited by the survivors who have come forward. If you are a survivor of the predatory abuse with which Mr. Weinstein is charged, there is still time to pursue justice. Please call us at 212-335-9373,” said Vance in a statement today.
More than 80 women, including one Irish woman, have accused Weinstein of sexual harassment, assault and rape, sparking the #MeToo movement. In May 25, 2018, he was arrested in New York. He has been released on bail.
