The teaser gives fans a taste of what is to come in the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones, before revealing it will premiere on April 15, 2019. The trailer follows Jon Snow, Arya Stark and Sansa Stark through the crypts of Winterfell, where they are confronted by their own graves before sensing a looming threat.
The final season will be comprised of six episodes, and despite HBO executive Casey Bloys previously entertaining the possibility of two-hour episodes, individual episodes will only run for 90 minutes at most.
