Cobra Promotions announces new podcast, Local Legends, with the first episode featuring Zac and the New Men.
Ríona McPhelim, owner of PR Company Cobra Promotions, has started a brand new music podcast titled Local Legends.
The Irish-owned independent project aims to support and celebrate the best upcoming music from Ireland and abroad.
The first episode of the podcast, available on all streaming platforms, looks at rising band Zac and the New Men. The young four-piece band formed in 2020 during one of the first COVID lockdowns. Despite being a relatively new act, the South Wales group has built a platform for their blues rock music.

They released their first single, 'Second Chance', in 2021 and have released four more cuts since then. Their most popular track being their most recent: 'Social Blur'. They're set to release their first EP soon, with McPhelim encouraging listeners to keep an eye out for the promising addition to their discography.
Going forward, McPhelim plans to use the Cobra Promotions platform to conduct reviews, interviews, curated playlists, designing PR content, and creating marketing directories. Local Legends is just a part of that comprehensive plan.
