The 3 part BBC series will also star Harry Potter's Michael Gambon.
Little Women is heading to our TV screens once more but this time round the filming will take place in Ireland.
Based on the classic 19th century novel by Louisa May Alcott, this new production by the BBC will star Murder, She Wrote's Angela Lansbury as the snide Aunt March. Lansbury is currently 91 yeas of age but slows no signs of slowing down.
Fellow veteran thespian Micheal Gambon, perhaps best known for playing Dumbledore in the Harry Potter film series , will play the kindly Mr Laurence. The adaptation will be helmed by Vanessa Caswill and be based of a script by Heidi Thomas (Call the Midwife).

Little women tells the tale of the three March sisters as the travail the life of a woman in the 1800s . From childhood to adulthood, the eventful times of Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy March are documented in the decade sweeping narrative.
Filming is expected to begin next month and the series should hit our small screens sometime in 2018.
