A whole host of new additions are coming to Netflix this weekend, from brand new Netflix originals to brand new episodes of the biggest shows. Here's what's available now.
NETFLIX ORIGINAL SERIES
The Alienist: Season 1 (Now Streaming)
The year is 1896, location is New York City. The city is struck by a series of gruesome murders by New York's first serial killer. Police commisioner Theodore Roosevelt, criminal pyschologist Dr Laszlo Kreizler, New York Times illustrator John Moore and Sara Howard, a secretary with ambitions of becoming New York's first female police detective must set out and apprehend the serial killer before he strikes again. The cast contains Daniel Brühl (Inglorious Basterds, Captain America, Rush, Goodbye Lenin!), Luke Evans (Beauty & The Beast, Dracula Untold, The Hobbit) Dakota Fanning (Man on Fire, Push, The Cat in the Hat) and Brian Geraghty (The Hurt Locker, When a Stranger Calls).
Dope: Season 2 (Now Streaming)
In this series, camera crews shadow drug smugglers, users and police across Indiana, the Caribbean, Detroit and Atlanta.

The Letdown: Season 1 (Available from 21 April)

One of the greatest reality shows on television, Drag Race sees a host of drag queens compete in a competition best described as 'Project Runway meets America's Next Top Model, but with drag queens'. Currently seasons 2-9 are on Netflix, but binge them soon as seasons 2-7 are reportedly leaving Netflix soon.

Financial guru and TV personality Lee Gates (George Clooney) is taken hostage live on air.

Alice Through the Looking Glass (Now Streaming)
Alice returns to wonderland in this family favourite.
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot (Now Streaming)
Cable news producer Kim Barker (Tina Fey) fancies a change and takes a new assignment in Kabul, Afghanistan. Totally out of her depth, Barker eventually finds a friend in fellow journalist Tanya Vanderpoel (Margot Robbie) who teaches her what it really takes to become a successful correspondent.

Four bodies are discovered in the urban grime of New York City and their only thing in common is they both died after logging onto feardot.com. Detectives and researchers from the Department of Health must crack the code.
