The news industry conference is taking place in Dublin on June 19th and 20th, and will bring together some of the world’s leading news commentators to examine the issues at The Frontlines Of News.
Leading global news industry conference News Xchange is taking place in Dublin this June, and promises a packed lineup of speakers including Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, Former UK Prime Minister Liz Truss, and a host of high-profile international journalists.
The theme this year's conference is 'The Frontlines Of News', and various panels will examine the modern news landscape touching on topics of social media, Artificial Intelligence, covering the war in Ukraine and misinformation.
A key aim of the event is to connect the next generation of news makers and news consumers with current news leaders through an initiative called Questions from the Next News Generation.
As part of this, young people are being asked to put questions to a number of keynote speakers and important panel discussions, and News Xchange is keen for every young person with an interest in current affairs to take part.

This panel discussions will include addresses from politicians Varadkar and Truss, and will bring together some of the world’s leading players and commentators to examine the issues that need to be tackled by journalists globally.
An RTÉ panel featuring Joe Reddington, Tony Connelly, Una Kelly and Miriam O'Callaghan will discuss feature on a panel examining Irish and international news agendas.
Other panels will feature reporters from news organisations including Al Jazeera, ITV, BBC and more. John King, anchor and chief national correspondent at CNN will also make a special appearance.
