Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds first emerged in 2011 when the band released their debut album of the same name in October.
The album's subsequent achievement of going double platinum in the UK and platinum in Ireland was followed by two more UK Number 1 studio albums, Chasing Yesterday and Who Built the Moon?
In 2021, the greatest hits album Back the Way We Came: Vol. 1 (2011-2021) became Gold certified. It covered Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds' best songs from the past decade.
Back the Way We Came: Vol. 1 was the 12th UK Number 1 album in Gallagher’s career.
Last June, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds played Glastonbury's Pyramid stage in the UK. The set list covered the front man's whole musical career.

Like the recently announced Royal Hospital Kilmainham show, the Glastonbury's Pyramid show was the conclusion to a summer of outdoor shows. The whole summer's series of shows were sold out.
For Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds' final show of the summer season this year, special guests Primal Scream and Happy Mondays will play.
Primal Scream has been rocking the forefront of the psychedelic pop scene for the last three and a half decades. The Scottish rock band has survived the highs and lows of a career in the spotlight, from jamming with George Clinton and Kate Moss to losing beloved guitarist Robert "Throb" Young.
Happy Mondays, one of the most influential bands of the UK in the 1990s, was formed in 1980 in Salford, Greater Manchester. They released their first album in 1987, Squirrel and G-Man Twenty Four Hour Party People Plastic Face Carnt Smile (White Out) and their second, Bummed, in 1988.
Their third album, Pills ’n’ Thrills and Bellyaches went platinum in the UK selling more than 350,000 copies.
