Now Netflix subscribers can download series and movies

The streaming service Netflix announced today that its subscribers will now be able to download movies and series from part of the online catalog.

So far, the subscribers could only watch the video services if they had access to an internet connection. With the new feature, the connection is only request at the moment of downloading a movie or series. To watch later, it's not mandatory to stay online.

'Orange is the new black', 'Narcos' and 'The crown' - three original productions from the service are already available.

The new option does not entail additional cost and will be accessible to Android and iOS phones and tablets.
