The original version of ‘Some Might Say’ appeared on Oasis’ second album ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?'.
Oasis have today unveiled a live version of ‘Some Might Say’, recorded on the second night of their two legendary 1996 Knebworth performances.
The track is from the forthcoming live album Oasis Knebworth 1996, presented for the first time in HD audio. The performance is taken from the full-length Sunday concert, directed by Dick Carruthers and set to be released on November 19th via Big Brother Recordings Ltd.
Oasis' original version of ‘Some Might Say’ was released in April 1995. The (What's the Story) Morning Glory? track became the iconic band's first Official UK No.1 single.
Live album Oasis Knebworth 1996 will be released on formats including 2CD and triple LP on heavyweight vinyl with the digital version of the album featuring HD audio.
The shows were recently immortalised on the big screen in critically acclaimed documentary Oasis Knebworth 1996. Directed by Grammy Award-nominee Jake Scott, the cinematic documentary celebrates the story of the special relationship between Oasis and their fans that made the largest concert of the ‘90’s possible.

Driven by huge excitement and anticipation from fans who were at the era-defining 1996 shows - and a new generation who wish they had been - the cinematic documentary opened at Number 1 on its first night of release. It became the UK’s highest-grossing event cinema release of 2021.
Oasis’ two record breaking nights at Knebworth took place on the 10th and 11th August 1996, with over a quarter of a million young music fans from all over the world converging on Knebworth Park, Hertfordshire. Featuring a setlist packed full of classics, the gigs were both the pinnacle of the band’s success and the landmark gathering for a generation.
