The online charity art auction will take place this Saturday, November 9 and Sunday, November 10 and will support Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre.
Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre announces the return of its annual online charity art auction Arthouse, supporting Outhouse’s vital work in the community.
For this contemporary art showcase, 180 artists from all over Ireland have donated 350 pieces ranging from vibrant street art to striking landscapes.
Highlighted artists include Hazel Coonagh, Colin Martin, Leah Beggs, Ishmael Claxton, Tom Climent, Zsolt Basti, Helen Blake, John Fitzsimons, Leah Hewson, Alan Phelan, Yoko Akino, Duc Pham, Martin McCann and more.
“I’ve always admired the work that Outhouse does as well as the space they provide for the community,” Dublin artist Hazel Coonagh, whose work is a blend of portraiture and surrealism and explores themes of identity, mental health, and the natural world, comments.
“Donating to the art auction each year is my way of giving back to those who have helped and supported me in so many ways.”

Speaking on the impact of Arthouse, Oisín O’Reilly, CEO of Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre, said: “Since Arthouse launched four years ago, it has been an incredible lifeline for Outhouse, helping us thrive and grow. Thanks to the generous support of both artists and buyers, we’ve been able to provide a wide range of essential services to our community.
“From establishing peer-support groups for intersex people, young adults, and asylum seekers, to offering vital casework for our most vulnerable members, Arthouse has made a real difference.
“Outhouse is a welcoming social space, where we’ve organised for eight different groups of the LGBTQ+ rainbow to now gather regularly. With the continued support of our community, we’re on a journey to become a world-class LGBTQ+ centre.”
Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre is located at 105 Capel Street, Rotunda, Dublin 1. Click here to find out more about the auction.
