Nutini's returned to music after eight years with album Last Night In The Bittersweet, and it's already topping the charts.
With his first release in eight years, Scottish singer-songwriter Paolo Nutini is back on top. His new album Last Night In The Bittersweet knocked Harry Styles' Harry's House down from number 1 on the Official Irish Album Charts. Nutini is returning to the stage as well to tour his number 1 album, hitting Ireland in Limerick on August 21-22, Dublin on the 24th, and Belfast on the 25th.

Steady at #3 in top albums is Olivia Rodrigo's SOUR, which debuted over a year ago. Rodrigo is current on her first ever tour for the album, and stopped in Dublin at Fairview Park in late June. At number 4 and 5, are Dermot Kennedy's Without Fear and Ed Sheeran's =, respectively.
In other news, another classic remains at the top of the charts. Kate Bush’s ‘Running Up That Hill’ has been number 1 on the Official Irish Singles Charts for 4 weeks now, almost three decades after its original release. In a statement on her website, Bush calls the attention she’s been receiving “bloody moving”.

Below Bush at #4 is Beyonce's BREAK MY SOUL, beginning her long awaited return since her last solo album Lemonade in 2016, and EVERYTHING IS LOVE released with husband Jay-Z in 2018. Her next record Renaissance will come out on July 29th. Next of the top singles follow in descending order: LF Systems' 'Afraid to Feel', Dermot Kennedy's 'Something to Someone', and Drake's 'Massive'.
