Making this evening even more special, next Friday marks the first time the collective will host live music, from Jas Ratchford who will play some tunes to close the first half of the event. Later in the night, the second half will boast five open mic slots, each pulled from of a hat.
As one of the featured writers, Paul Charles will continue to share his countless adventures throughout the music industry with the first chapter of Adventures in Wonderland, titled 'My First Adventure in Wonderland', regaling the audience with stories about the likes of The Kinks, Van Morrison, Rory Gallagher and Tom Waits.
"Throughout, Paul Charles offers penetrating insights into the music, the musicians and the stars who have entertained, inspired and influenced us all—while also making readers laugh out loud," Hot Press Editor Niall Stokes said of the memoir. "It's a book that should be read by anyone—and everyone—with an interest in music."
