Excitement brewed in the air as press and fans alike waited in anticipation for the band's announcement, which has been teased over their social media accounts for the past month.

In a conference hosted by Eoghan McDermott, the band were introduced by Avery Lipman, co-founder of Republic Records - one of the biggest music labels in the world. He signed the Athy group shortly after their explosion onto the Irish music scene, making Picture This the first ever Irish group signed by the label.

Lipman, who manages artists such as Ariana Grande and Post Malone, said he saw "levels of passion and levels of activity (around the band) which didn't make sense  - in a good way". He went on to say that he felt as though the entire country has a secret that he's "really excited to share it with the rest of the world". Later on, this was confirmed with the news of their European Tour.

The difference Lipman noticed in the band was evident in the conference itself which welcomed press and fans alike, without whom, the band emphasized, they would never have made it where they are today. "All bands say that we have the best fans in the world, but we really do have the best fans", lead singer Ryan Hennessey gushed.

Following their announcements that they would play a European Tour including a staggering five Irish dates at the 3arena in March (27th-31st), and releasing new track "One Drink" from their upcoming MDRN LV album (to be released February 15th), fans were led outside to the front of the hotel. Within minutes, Ryan Hennessy, Jimmy Rainsford, Owen Cardiff and Cliff Deane appeared and played two classic songs from their debut EP - Picture This, "Take My Hand" which originally catapulted the Athy boys to fame, along with anthem "When We Were Young".

After a record-breaking start and their game-changing announcement today, the lads' self-declared ambition to be "the biggest band in the world" seems to be well underway...
