Pierce Brosnan Endorses Tom Hardy For James Bond Role
While the Navan-born star also said that he's seriously considering moving back home from the US to live in Ireland again because he's sick of Donald Trump.
Brosnan reckons Tom Hardy will "put a bit of wiggle into" the role.
"I think Tom Hardy could be a good Bond. I'd be happy to see him do it. You need an actor who can put a bit of wiggle into it - that's what makes Bond," Brosnan said.
He also praised Daniel Craig's performances as 007.
“Daniel Craig has been an incredible Bond,” he told the The Mail on Sunday’s Event magazine.
“He’s very physical, he looks lethal. You genuinely believe this is someone who could kill a man.”
On Donald Trump, he said: “That man has tron this country apart and you have to work out how much longer you can stay here."
Craig's last outing as Bond will hit the cinemas in October 2019.
