Some of Ireland's best musicians are coming together in Workman's, Dublin on June 30th to celebrate two decades of Avril Lavigne's debut album.
Ailbhe Reddy has announced the special guests for her upcoming Avril Lavigne celebration gig, with proceeds going towards Red Cross Ukraine.
Marking the 20th anniversary of the Canadian pop-punk star's debut album Let Go on the night will be MayKay, Pillow Queens, Soak, Maria Kelly, Sorcha Richardson, Emma Langford, Roisin O, Sinead White, HAVVK and more.
Taking place on June 30th from 8pm in the Main Room, tickets are on sale now for the special event.
Let Go was credited as the biggest pop debut of 2002 and was certified seven-times Platinum in the US. The album sold over 16 million copies worldwide, becoming Lavigne's highest-selling album to date and the best selling album of the 21st century by a Canadian artist.

Building her sound on gently compelling indie, Ailbhe Reddy is a rising force in the Irish music scene. Blending together the familiar sounds of alt-folk and pop with powerful vocals and masterfully crafted lyricism, the Dubliner uses sparse, but intentional production to craft a sound that is entirely her own.
Her new single 'Inhaling' “is all about feeling drained and restless in life and looking back on my younger self and thinking that even if it was a totally chaotic disaster at times, at least I had feeling," the singer commented.
Pillow Queens and Derry musician SOAK have both released new albums in recent months: Leave the Light On (via Royal Mountain Records) was the quartet's sophomore outing in April - while SOAK's stunning If I Never Know You Like This Again landed last month.
Sorcha Richardson's beautiful new indie-folk ballad 'Archie' arrived two weeks ago, with the Dublin singer-songwriter's usual, unique brand of storytelling.
